Chail is the small and quite hill station, located in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh in the Solan district at height of 2,502 meters above from the sea level. The major tourist attractions in the Chail town are Chail Palace, which is well known for its architecture. Another famous spot is cricket ground, which is famous for its highest cricket ground in the world. Some other popular sightseeing places in the town are Polo ground and Sai Temple.

Chail is 44 km from Shimla and 45 km from Solan. It is known for its salubrious beauty and virgin forests.
The place is surrounded by the forests of chir pine and gigantic deodars. Shimla, Solan and Kasauli can also be viewed at night from Chail. It is pleasant in summers and cold in winter. Average annual rainfall is about 150 mm.
